Sophie Luck plays  Tamara
Via: E-mai

Full Name
 Sophie Kathrin Luck

 D.O.B
 17th October 1989

At what age did you first discover you wanted to act?
At about 8 years of age.

Is any of your family into the acting industry?
 NO

What different roles have you played and which have you enjoyed the most?
Tamara (Home & Away) and Fly (Blue Water High) – I like Fly probably the best

What is the best thing about being part of Blue Water High?
What I love most about it is the fact of being on the beach and near the water – being in the water and filming at the same time. The people are amazing and everything is so low key and natural. It’s exactly how you see it.

Would you like to continue acting for the rest of your life or your life or lead into a different direction?
I would love to continue acting for as long as possible. I would like to study other things too. Maybe, behind the scenes, but I want to act more than anything.

How do you juggle both school and acting at the same time?
It’s honestly hard work. But it you’re positive it’s okay. I miss my friends heaps when I’m away. I love them so much. But I guess you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do! LOL

How does it feel to have won the Young Actor AFI award?
When I think about it, I can still remember exactly what I was feeling when I got it. It was just amazing. I didn’t expect it at all. It was a rewarding feeling but I don’t really feel any major difference at all. I’m still normal ! LOL

Did you have to learn how to surf for Blue Water High?
Well, the basics. I love surfing though. We have double for all our stunts. They’re awesome.

What are your hobbies besides acting?
I have heaps … umm … I love hanging out with my friends and having sleepovers, youth group on Fridays, Church on Sundays, camping, bumming around, beach, surfing, movies, anything you can think of!

Is there a message you would like to say to your fans?
LOL … Fans, that feels weird. I’d call them my friends. LOL. I’d like to say – love life, love people, stay positive and never give in what you believe in. Always stay strong and DON’T let people put you down. You can do anything you want too. And just follow your dreams. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from. You’re amazing and you can do anything! XOXO

• Announcement - 23 September 2007•
After an extended 9 months, it's time for Home and Away Central to officially close. Most of you know I was planning to close late last year than I gave you all a Christmas Surprise I haven't put a date to it yet but in 4 weeks time I start year 12 so there will be less updating. Depending on the workload, it might close as soon as a month, if not the end of the year. The site and gallery will close as it takes a while to update everyday, but the forum will stay open as it. Thanks to all the 1500+ visitors who visit HAAC each day. I'll let you all know when I decide on a date!
