D.O.B
I was born on the 14th of april 1978

Full name
My full name is Paul Clinton O'Brien I tend to sign PC it stands for Paul Clinton and peace! PC

Do you have any siblings?
I have an older brother Chad and a younger sister Taryn

We heard you were a stand up comedian before acting. Which do you prefer?
I was just getting into Stand-up comedy and I find it a lot like acting. Telling a story and portraying a message. Stand-up is a very tough gig as you have good and bad nights depending on the crowd and what sort of mood your in. Sometimes you just don't feel funny. I take my hat off to all comedians.....

Is Home and Away your first major television role?
Home and Away is the biggest role I have ever landed, I'm a lucky man to be working as a full time actor in Australia.

Any ambitions for Hollywood?
Hollywood is an option for my acting as I do see myself pursuing a career in film. I guess I will go where the opportunity is.

Who in the cast are you closest to or hang out off set?
I'm closest to Jon Sivewright who plays my Dad Tony in the show. We have been room mates, and hang out a lot because we lived together. I just moved on the weekend. I now live on the beach..... it's amazing.

What’s the best thing about working on Home and Away?
The best thing about H@A is the people you meet, like yourself Jessica. The opportunities and the experiences that come your way.

When you first started filming, was it easier to start with Jon and Rhys with you?
It was nice to start on Home and Away with Jon and Rhys  because we could talk about how weird and wonderful the whole experience was.

Before you were on Home and Away, did you watch it?
No I didn't watch much T.V before Home and Away I was usually to busy working to be on T.V. Hmmm funny!

Where do you see yourself, or want to be in five years?
In Five years I'll have lots of acting experience, and hopefully completed a few projects I've been thinking about for awhile.

Has being on Home and Away changed your life?
My life is very different from before. I'm so busy all the time, people want me to be in their films, I have holidays (it's been awhile), I get paid for my acting , I live in Sydney, I get invited to events, strangers talk to me in the street and want my photo. I'm no longer a struggling actor. There are so many things it's crazy......

Who would you love to guest star on the show (like a celebrity)?
I'm not sure........ hmmm

Which celebrity would you choose to be stranded with on a desert island?
Desert island.... ahhh hmmm, I'll think about that one. I don't really know any celebrities that well to answer. Sorry

Do you have any other talents other than acting?
Other talents. I cook, body board, surf, ski and like to play all sorts of sports.

What has been one of your best experiences in your life?
I've had so many fantastic experiences in my life some of the best have been growing up. Exploring new places. Change is always the best experience, even when you don't want things to change.  You don't realize how much you appreciate something or some one until you move on.

What would be your dream role/character to play one day?
Dream roll would be something that is really demanding where people wouldn't even know it was me.........

What’s the best part about being a celebrity?
The best part about being a celebrity is been noticed, it's also the worst part. I guess it's the things you get to see and do.

What’s one of the funniest things that has ever happened on set
There are so many funny things that happen on set. Forgetting your lines and making up other words tends to get a chuckle. I remember the first day, we were in the holden house and I kept laughing and saying to the guys "we're on Home and Away" it just didn't seem real.

Are you similar in any way to your onscreen character Jack Holden?
Are we similar...? It has been said that Jack and myself look alike. Ha! sorry couldn't help myself. We are very similar. Jack been a cop is the biggest difference.

We hear you don’t have a girlfriend currently, are you looking for one?
I don't have a girlfriend and I'm not looking for one at the moment.  I don't think I have time, there are a few projects I'm trying to get going.  We will just have to see.

Are you any good at singing? Might the public one day, see you releasing a single or album?
I have written a few songs and started singing lessons a few months ago, an Album? Well you just never know. What do you guys think???

Is there a message you would like to say to your fans?
I would like to say thank-you for your support, it's really nice to have people who are interested in what you do. Work hard to make all your goals and dreams come true because your worth it. Merry Christmas guys, lots of love Paul O'Brien

After an extended 9 months, it's time for Home and Away Central to officially close. Most of you know I was planning to close late last year than I gave you all a Christmas Surprise I haven't put a date to it yet but in 4 weeks time I start year 12 so there will be less updating.
